Program Guidelines

1. Open to GATS members. To join or renew membership, go here.
2. The registration fee will be 30$. This includes rehearsal dinner with speaker tentatively scheduled on Feb 1st evening. Venue/Menus to be decided later
3. If you are interested, please register thru the link and share 1-2 mins video on any of the above topics to 704-780-0757( WhatsApp ) or email to vivadhamedai@gatamilsangam.org. Our celebrity speaker will conduct the audition to select the participants. The money will be refunded for non-selected participants
4. Prior public speaking knowledge is recommended. We also encourage high-school students registration for this event
5. Once selected, the participant needs to be committed for rehearsal and program. If needed, they need to be available for additional rehearsal
6. There is no min/max time limit each participant to state their views. It will be decided by the speaker based on the situation
7. On stage participation, the opportunity to talk, duration of mic opportunity, etc. are at the discretion of the lead.
8. Participants are 
   1.    Encouraged to speak all or most part of their speech in Tamil.
   2.    Required to avoid foul language, obscene gestures, etc.
9. Violation of program rules may result in denial to participate or continue to participate, without any explanation.
10. The VivadhaMedai Committee reserves to amend program rules at any time, to improve the quality and success of the program.
